About Us

Charity Registered No 1090319
The ICP Charity was set up on 13 July 2001 at a meeting attended by 30+ people. Various items were discussed, including the proposed Constitution. Four founding Trustees were appointed for the first year of the Charity's existence, after which four Trustees have been elected from the membership.
A spiritual Advisory Group has been chosen from members of the local clergy to act as a backstop to all major decisions, particularly those that might be perceived as contrary to the Charity's objects. The Charity Commission has now granted ICP full Charity status. Inter Church Productions is an ecumenical association of grass roots Christians with skills and experience in the performing arts. It has the support of the Ministers of the Thame Churches.
As a charity, ICP performs the role of a holding company (principally
providing a financial safety net) for the several local Christian drama/music groups which together comprise Inter Church Productions. ICP also acts as a focal point for resource management and is able to offer training in the various skills associated with the performing arts.
Inter Church Productions is located in Thame, Oxfordshire and currently serves the Christian community in the Aylesbury Vale and Thames valley.

Our Mission
To glorify God by celebrating the creative gifts he has given us.
The practical outworking of this is in the support of local Christian performing arts groups, providing resources and training to develop talent, thereby enabling, guiding and endorsing productions, whilst creating opportunities for people to work together and grow spiritually.
We are not interested in a Performance that is mediocre.

Company Profile
Inter Church Productions has many members with great talents in the performing arts. These talents can be made available to groups which do not have all of the skills they might need for a particular "show".
In many instances, the available resources will far outweigh the financial contribution that small groups might afford. This is where ICP can act as banker until the "show" realizes a cash return.
Members of ICP pay no subscription or fee to join but are encouraged to show their commitment by giving their time or talents.
